The splash of b-blood, that wh-which he knows is red but cannot see, against the earth which so greedily drinks it a-as if starved, this servant finds fear in such things.

Fires that burn a-away flesh and bone, embers floating on the air like glowing red eyes.  Smoke th-that scalds the throat and, uhm, l-leaves those in its wake scorched and dead.  He knows the screams.  This s-servant finds fear in such things.

Th-there are the things that he s-sees and does not know and this servant fears them above all else.
